Who / what is Farm and Table?

Hello! I'm Erin Macy, I'm an educator, hobby farmer, and DIY enthusiast who just so happens to love baking. When I'm not working, you can find me in my kitchen baking something delicious and comforting. 

I love to bake. My first experience with homemade baking and cooking was with my Grandma Peters. She taught me how to make homemade noodles. She would put flour all over her small formica kitchen table and let me roll out the noodle dough. Then she'd hand me a sharp knife and tell me to cut [straight] lines. As a 6 year old, straight meant fat, curvy,  and skinny noodles!  She didn't care, through. She was just happy her only grand-daughter wanted to learn. Soon after this I started baking for 4-H, and boy was I hooked!!

My mother taught me how to make brownies, cookies, and banana bread from her mother's recipe box. I've perfected some of my family's recipes, and I'm working on some that are 5 generations old. Now that I have my own daughter, I have begun teaching her the basics of baking. Maybe one day she will get the hang of it, that is when she's not too busy riding her horses!
